Founded with the vision of providing dependable, detail-driven property support for Airbnb hosts and rental owners, Casa & Craft was built on one simple principle: Treat every cabin like it’s our own.
We are a family-owned, locally operated property care company serving Ellijay, Blue Ridge, and surrounding mountain communities. Our work goes beyond basic cleaning. We provide comprehensive cabin care, from guest-ready turnovers and maintenance touch-ups to routine inspections, restocking, and emergency response.
As residents of Ellijay ourselves, we understand the stress that can come with hosting especially when you’re not nearby.
That’s why we prioritize clear communication, photo updates after every visit, and structured service plans that protect your investment.
What truly sets us apart is our community give-back program. When guests leave behind unopened non-perishable items, we donate them on your behalf to local food pantries and community resource programs. Not only do we donate to local food banks, we help other community driven donations, such as clothes, blankets and even items left behind that the local animal shelter may need. It’s our way of honoring both the property and the community we serve.

Michelle Amato
Founder & Director of Property Care
Casa & Craft was built from a desire for something simpler, more meaningful, and deeply rooted in family.
Before moving to the mountains, Michelle worked in and operated both new construction and remodeling companies in Southwest Florida. For years, she was immersed in the fast-paced world of residential construction — overseeing projects from start to finish, coordinating crews, managing remodel timelines, and ensuring every detail met high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

That experience shaped her eye for detail and preventative care. It taught her how to recognize small maintenance concerns before they become costly repairs, and how thoughtful workmanship protects long-term property value.

But over time, the constant pace of construction deadlines and the hustle of Southwest Florida life no longer aligned with the life she envisioned for her family.

Michelle chose to trade traffic and timelines for mountain air and intentional living. Drawn to Ellijay’s natural beauty and strong sense of community, she made the decision to build something new — not just a business, but a legacy.

Casa & Craft was created with family at its heart. As a mother of two boys, Michelle hopes to teach them the value of responsibility, integrity, craftsmanship, and service through this work. Her vision is to build something lasting in the Ellijay area. A business rooted in care and consistency that her sons can one day be proud to grow and continue for years to come.

Today, Michelle combines her construction background with a hospitality-focused mindset. She understands how properties function behind the walls, and how guests experience them the moment they walk through the door.
